Conoclinum Coelestinum
A pollinator magnet with attractive blue flowers. Important butterfly nectar source for moths and butterflies in the fall as they migrate south. Host plant to Haploa clymene (Clymene Moth), Phragmatobia lineata (Lined Ruby Tiger Moth), and the Schinia trifacia (Three-Lined Flower Moth). Self-seeds rapidly in a garden, so plant densely around it with other species to limit it's spread, or let it seed and dig up seedlings when they are a few inches tall.
